OUR STORY

Welcome to joon: a family-run, independent cafe driven by a love of culinary exploration and speciality coffee. Since April 2025, we’ve been honoured to proudly call the Warren Street neighbourhood home.  

You may notice our menu is delightfully multicultural...so are we. We find joy in the union of global flavours and culinary traditions; we aim to offer a slice of home, wherever home may be. At our core is a belief that the true art of hospitality has the power to brighten every day.

In Farsi, ‘joon’ means life and soul. It can be used as a term of affection: ‘joonam’ means my life, my soul. For us, the love and dreams cemented in the walls here, and every customer that becomes family, is ‘our joonam’
